Three soldiers were killed and another wounded in an ambush by the NPA (New People’s Army) in Barangay Palapas, Ligao City, on Thursday, August 21 at around 6 a.m. The soldiers were part of a 16-man squad that was trying to surround a guerrilla unit stationed not far from the scene of the attack.
