Στην διαδήλωση για τα εγκαίνια της ΔΕΘ συμμετείχαν χιλιάδες άτομα, πραγματοποιώντας πολύωρη πορεία στο κέντρο της πόλης. Η πορεία είχε έντονα χαρακτηριστικά αλληλεγγύης στην Παλαιστίνη και στην παλαιστινιακή αντίσταση, όπως επίσης και ανάδειξης του κρατικού – καπιταλιστικού εγκλήματος των Τεμπών, καθώς καλούσαν επιζώντες (στην Καμάρα) και συγγενείς θυμάτων (στον Λευκό Πύργο). Unsere erste Exkursion mit dem Solidaritätsprojekt „Wir forschen: Kreativer Widerstand gegen den Nationalsozialismus“ führte uns in die Ausstellung der Gedenkstätte Deutscher Widerstand in Berlin. Neben der Dauerausstellung haben wir uns dort die Sonderausstellung „1945 – Widerstand gegen den Nationalsozialismus am Kriegsende“ angesehen. Die Ausstellung zeigt über ein dutzend Beispiele für Versuche, im letzten Moment die Verteidigung von Städten zu sabotieren und sie relativ heil an die Alliierten zu übergeben. Mehrere Beispiele stammen aus Berlin. Wir entdeckten die Gruppe „Onkel Emil“, die in den letzten Kriegstagen heimlich die Häuser am Kurfürstendamm mit „Nein!“ in Weiß voll pinselte.

Als gemeinütziger und anerkannter Träger der Kinder- und Jugendarbeit in der Doppelstadt Frankfurt/Słubice beschäftigen wir uns als Utopia e.V. mit emanzipatorischer Kultur-, Jugend- und Bildungsarbeit. Im Rahmen einer Projektwerkstatt haben sich nun Aktivist*innen mit einem solidarischen, humanistischen und antikapitalistischen Umgang im großen Thema der „Integration“ beschäftigt. Infolge kollektiver Recherche ist eine kurze zweisprachige Broschüre entstanden, welche Impulse, Erfahrungen und Begriffe für andere ehrenamtlich Tätige in der Kultur- und Bildungsarbeit bereitstellen soll.
