Stiamo facendo delle prove per arrivare ad abbandonare Buddypress, il plugin invasivo che permette l’invio di messaggi privati e la creazione di gruppi all’interno di Noblogs. Riconosciamo che la cosa più bella che crea è l’Activity, ovvero la pagina in cui si vedono tutti i nuovi post pubblicati all’interno di Noblogs, per cui stiamo lavorando per rimpiazzarla prima di toglierlo e magari anche metterla in home page.
Vi avvisiamo che prima della fine dell’anno rimuoveremo tutto quello che è relativo a Buddypress, quindi se vi siete scambiati messaggi/contatti all’interno della sua bacheca salvatevi quello che ritenete importante, perchè la toglieremo presto. Negli anni abbiamo visto che l’uso è praticamente nullo. Rimarrà comunque il sistema di Commenti di WordPress.

We’re doing some testing to get to the point of abandoning Buddypress, the invasive plugin that allows private messaging and group creation within Noblogs. We recognize that the coolest thing it creates is the Activity, which is the page where you see all the new posts published within Noblogs, so we are working to replace it before removing it (bp) and maybe even put it on the home page.
Please be advised that before the end of the year we will be removing everything Buddypress related, so if you have been exchanging messages/contacts within the Noblogs board save what you feel is important, because we will be removing it soon. Over the years we have seen that the usage is near zero. The WordPress comments system will remain.
