Juni habe ich durch die Presse von Majas Entscheidung erfahren, in den Hungerstreik zu treten, um bessere Haftbedingungen und eine Rücküberstellung nach Deutschland zu erkämpfen. Em 1939 chega ao México com seus pais. A partir daí começa sua militância anarquista. Atua nas Juventudes Libertárias e na CNT espanhola no México.
