Στις 31/10/2024 ο αναρχικός σύντροφος Κυριάκος Ξυμητήρης σκοτώνεται έπειτα από έκρηξη σε διαμέρισμα στους Αμπελόκηπους, ενώ η αναρχική κοινωνική αγωνίστρια Μαριάννα Μ., η οποία βρισκόταν στο διαμέρισμα τραυματίζεται σοβαρά και μεταφέρεται στο Νοσοκομείο Ευαγγελισμός. Εκεί παραμένει φρουρούμενη για δύο εβδομάδες , υποβάλλεται σε δύο επεμβάσεις και έπειτα μεταφέρεται -φέροντας ακόμα βαριά τραύματα και έχοντας ανάγκη νοσηλείας- στις γυναικείες φυλακές Κορυδαλλού. Μέχρι σήμερα, έξι μήνες μετά, η Μαριάννα στερείται της απαραίτητης ιατρικής περίθαλψης, της οποίας η στέρηση μπορεί να προκαλέσει μακροχρόνιες επιπτώσεις στην υγεία της.
