Την Τετάρτη 9/7/2025 συζητήθηκε εντός ημερησίας διατάξης στο Δημοτικό Συμβούλιο (ΔΣ) Δήμου Αθηναίων το αίτημα των κατοίκων να χαρακτηριστεί ολόκληρο το πάρκο Δρακόπουλου ως ενιαίος κοινόχρηστος χώρος υψηλού πρασίνου και ιστορικός τόπος.Οι κάτοικοι τοποθετήθηκαν παρουσιάζοντας το αιτήμα στη συνεδρίαση έχοντας καταθέσει το ψήφισμά τους με 960 υπογραφές, αποδεικτικά έγγραφα των επιχειρημάτων τους, υποστηρικτικά ψηφίσματα συλλόγων και σωματείων. Η δημοτική αρχή δεν είχε ξεκάθαρη πρόταση για το ζήτημα της ακύρωσης των όρων δόμησης στο νότιο τμήμα του πάρκου και διαφώνησε με το χαρακτηρισμό του πάρκου ως ενιαίου κοινόχρηστου χώρου υψηλού πρασίνου, παρά τη θετική γνωμοδότηση του συμβουλίου της 5ης δημοτικής κοινότητας. Liebe Antifaschist*innen, die AfD ist eine extrem rechte Partei. Nach über 10 Jahren brauner Propaganda und immer größeren Wahlerfolgen, hat das jetzt auch der Bundesverfassungsschutz bemerkt. Als Partei erhält sie über 120 Millionen Euro an staatlichen Geldern und sie bestimmt in den deutschen Parlamenten, von Stadträten bis hin zum Bundestag, längst mit. Dass diese extrem rechte Struktur zerschlagen werden muss, ist selbstverständlich. Ein Verbot liegt also auf der Hand. Trotzdem passiert gerade das nicht.
