Siamo aggiornate alla nuova versione di wordpress 5.3

Le novità riguardo a questa release sono… Ah… già… il nuovo block editor che abbiam deciso di non usare per il momento 😛
Gutemberg, hem… sembra carino,
ma abbiamo deciso di non sperimentare il top del design per i contenuti, in favore di stare stabili sulla sicurezza.
Ma abbiamo altre novità: abbiamo aggiustato la visualizzazione della nostra ACTIVITY 🙂
Che è una delle parti collettive più interessanti di Noblogs! Ora te la puoi vedere anche su schermi piccoli.

Non vi nascondiamo che faremmo volentieri a meno di Buddypress, la parte che in Noblogs fa da forum/messaggi/chat ma non vorremmo
togliendolo rimuovere appunto la pagine dell’Activity, ci stiamo ancora pensando.
Questa versione di Wp che è l’ultima dell’anno, ci ha omaggiato con un nuovo tema: TwentyTwenty!
Noi abbiamo aggiunto il nostro secondo tema “child” che abbiam fatto per Noblogs.
Questi nuovi temi sono un inizio di un progetto per condividere le nostre checklist a tutt* riguardo il: “come scegliamo i temi wordpress, come li patchamo per essere più sicuri e come sarà possibile darci una mano”… ma questo prossimamente.
Abbiam aggiunto un nuovo plugin: – radar wp calendar
che è il modo di visualizzare il calendario di radar.squat.net nel vostro blog con un sacco di interessanti eventi in tutto il mondo.
Se stai usando una istanza di Gancio https://gancio.org/ ti ricordiamo che puoi collegarla con il tuo blog usando gli RSS in un widget del tuo tema, o incorporare tutti gli eventi come articoli, usando il plugin “FeedWordPress syndicates posts”.
Al momento stiamo ancora cercando un plugin che possa rimpiazzarci Event Calendar che abbiamo tolto qualche mese fa per ragioni di sicurezza, ma insomma speriamo di riuscire a trovarne uno che ci soddisfi e ridarvi indietro un calendario personale/collettivo/di progetto/*. Al momento è usabile solo Event List.

The News about this new release is the improve of… AH… yah… the new block editor that we decided to not use 😛
Gutemberg, hem… Looks nice,
but we decided to not experiment the bleeding edge of design content, not yet… in favor of take care of security.
But we have other news: we fixed a bit the visualization of our ACTIVITY 🙂
That is one of collective and most interesting parts of Noblogs! Now you can scroll it also on small screens.

We not hide that we are thinking to not support more BuddyPress, the forum/chat/messaging part of Noblogs,
but for sure we dont want remove the Activity Board. So.. we are still thinking on.
This release of WP, that is the last of the year, gifted us with a new basic wordpress theme: TwentyTwenty!
We added our second “child” themes, that we crafted for Noblogs.
This new themes are also a starting process, about give a checklist to everyone about:”how we choose wp-themes and how we patch them to be more privacy friendly and how give an hand”… but this is the next chapter.
We added a new plugin: – radar wp calendar
That is the way to visualize the calendar of radar.squat.net in your blog with a lot of interesting events worldwide.
If you use an instance of Gancio, https://gancio.org/ we suggest that you can join it with your blog using the RSS in the widget area of your theme, or incorporate all the events as posts using the plugin “FeedWordPress syndicates posts”.
At the moment we are still looking for a plugin that take the place of Events Calendar that we get off for security problem some months ago, but soon we hope to give back to Noblogs a plugin for personal/project/collective/* calendar. At the moment is activable only Event List.
